1. General competition and giveaway terms

Promotion

1.1. By participating in any competition or giveaway advertised by Electric Kiwi on its website, Instagram or Facebook page and/or other social media channels, radio, TV, online or in any other channel you are deemed to have accepted these general terms and conditions.

1.2. These general terms and conditions are subject to any additional terms and conditions for the competition. The additional terms and conditions will prevail in the event of a conflict with any of these general terms and conditions.

1.3. All competitions are not sponsored or endorsed by any platforms like Facebook or Instagram unless clearly stated otherwise. By entering, you release any advertising platforms from all liability related to Electric Kiwi competitions.

1.4. Unless stated otherwise, only Electric Kiwi customers can enter. Specific competitions may be for certain customer segments, which will be detailed in the competition announcement. Employees of Electric Kiwi as well as their agents, contractors, consultants, and families, are not eligible to enter.

1.5. To enter, follow the instructions in the competition advertisement by Electric Kiwi.

1.6. To be eligible to win certain competitions, you must be a New Zealand resident, 18 or older, and meet any other specified requirements.

1.7. The competition’s opening and closing dates will be specified in its advertisement, which could be on social media, on TV, etc.

1.8. Electric Kiwi is not responsible for late, lost, or misdirected entries or technical issues that delay or prevent entry.

1.9. All entries become the property of Electric Kiwi and will not be returned.

1.10. Winners will be drawn as specified in the competition advertisement, and prizes will be distributed as advertised. Electric Kiwi accepts no responsibility for any prize winner's enjoyment of the prize or any other costs and expenses related to the prize (including any travel-related costs, unless otherwise specified in the competition advertisement).

1.11. Entries must not contain offensive, inappropriate, or unlawful content.

1.12. Electric Kiwi will try to notify winners by email, social media, text, or phone. If we can't reach a winner within three days, we may select a new winner. We might also use other ways to contact winners.

1.13. Prizes can't be transferred, exchanged, or turned into cash. Electric Kiwi isn't responsible for any lost or destroyed entries or prizes.

1.14. By accepting the prize, winners agree to be photographed and/or interviewed, and for their name, city, entry, photos, and interviews to be used by Electric Kiwi for promotional purposes without compensation. This can include Electric Kiwi’s website, direct and social media.

1.15. Electric Kiwi’s decisions about the competition are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

1.16. Electric Kiwi reserves the right to cancel or amend these terms and any challenge instructions without notice.

1.17. Electric Kiwi is not liable for any issues arising directly or indirectly from the competition, as permitted by law.

1.18. Any personal information collected will be managed according to Electric Kiwi’s Privacy Policy. You have the right to access, update, and correct your information.

2. $100 Account Credit when Electric Kiwi Customers Add Broadband

Effective from 23 June to 8 July 2026

Promotion

2.1. These terms apply to existing Electric Kiwi power or mobile customers who do not currently have an active Electric Kiwi Broadband service, and who add an Electric Kiwi Broadband service between 12:01 am on 23 June 2026 and 11:59pm on 8 July 2026 ("promotional period").

2.2. A $100 credit will be applied only to eligible customers who have received this specific offer directly from us and who successfully add a new Electric Kiwi broadband service during the promotional period. This offer is not transferable and may not be combined with any other promotional offer.

2.3. The $100 credit offer is not available to:

  • Customers who already have an active Electric Kiwi Broadband service at the time of the offer.

  • Customers who cancel and rejoin Electric Kiwi Broadband during the promotional period.

  • Customers who do not have an active Electric Kiwi power or mobile service at the time of adding broadband.

2.4. This offer is only available once per Electric Kiwi account.

2.5. The $100 credit will be applied to your Electric Kiwi account within a month of activation. There is no minimum connection period required to receive the credit.

2.6. The credit may be used to offset invoiced charges for any Electric Kiwi service including power, broadband or mobile.

2.7. The credit is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

2.8. Any remaining account credit at account closure will be forfeited.

2.9. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the offer or offer period at any time.

2.10. We retain the right to determine whether a Broadband sign-up is genuine and valid at our sole discretion. If deemed invalid, we may cancel the account credit at any time.

3. Two Months Free Broadband when Electric Kiwi Customers Add Broadband

Effective from 23 June to 8 July 2026

Promotion

3.1. These terms apply to existing Electric Kiwi power or mobile customers who do not currently have an active Electric Kiwi Broadband service, and who add an Electric Kiwi Broadband service between 23 June 2026 and 11:59pm on 8 July 2026  ("promotional period") after receiving this specific offer directly from us.

3.2. Eligible customers who successfully add a new Electric Kiwi Broadband service during the promotional period will receive a credit equivalent to two months of their chosen broadband plan charge, applied automatically to their Electric Kiwi account. No action is required from the customer to receive this credit. This offer may not be combined with any other promotional offer.

3.3. The two months free credit applies to the monthly broadband plan charge only and is available across all Electric Kiwi Broadband plans. Any additional charges including but not limited to modem rental, purchase or installation fees are not included in this offer.

3.4. The two months free offer is not available to:

  • Customers who already have an active Electric Kiwi Broadband service at the time of the offer.

  • Customers who cancel and rejoin Electric Kiwi Broadband during the promotional period.

  • Customers who do not have an active Electric Kiwi power or mobile service at the time of adding broadband.

3.5. This offer is only available once per Electric Kiwi account.

3.6. The credit will be applied to your Electric Kiwi account within a month of activation. The credit will be applied provided the customer has an active Electric Kiwi Broadband service at the time of application. There is no minimum connection period required to be eligible for this offer.

3.7. The credit may be used to offset invoiced charges for any Electric Kiwi service including power, broadband or mobile.

3.8. The credit is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

3.9. Any remaining account credit at account closure will be forfeited.

3.10. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the offer or offer period at any time.

3.11. We retain the right to determine whether a Broadband sign-up is genuine and valid at our sole discretion. If deemed invalid, we may withdraw the offer at any time.

4. $100 Account Credit when Electric Kiwi Customers Add Mobile

Effective from 23 June to 8 July 2026

4.1. These terms apply to existing Electric Kiwi power or broadband customers who do not currently have an active Kiwi Mobile service, and who add a Kiwi Mobile service between 12:01am 23 June 2026 and 11:59pm on 8 July 2026 ("promotional period").

4.2. A $100 credit will be applied only to eligible customers who have received this specific offer directly from us and who successfully add a new Kiwi Mobile service during the promotional period. This offer is not transferable and may not be combined with any other promotional offer.

4.3. The $100 credit offer is not available to:

  • Customers who already have an active Kiwi Mobile service at the time of the offer.

  • Customers who cancel and rejoin Kiwi Mobile during the promotional period.

  • Customers who do not have an active Electric Kiwi power or broadband service at the time of adding mobile.

4.4. This offer is only available once per Electric Kiwi account.

4.5. The $100 credit will be applied to your Electric Kiwi account within a month of activation. There is no minimum connection period required to receive the credit.

4.6. The credit may be used to offset invoiced charges for any Electric Kiwi service including power, broadband or mobile.

4.7. The credit is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

4.8. Any remaining account credit at account closure will be forfeited.
