Time of use rates

To tell the difference between Time of Use and Flat Rate electricity, look at the Usage Charges section of your power bill. A Flat Rate (or Single Rate) charges the exact same price per kilowatt-hour (c/kWh) all day, while Time of Use splits your day into Peak, Shoulder, and Off-Peak periods.

Smart meter

You'd need to have a smart meter installed to be with us, as it's needed to be able to get your half hourly usage electronically, and give cheaper off-peak rates.
