1. Free Sundays
1.1
Free power Sundays for your first 12 months is available to new Electric Kiwi customers who join on the Sunday Saver power plan.
1.2
To be eligible for Free power Sundays you must have an active Electric Kiwi Broadband or Mobile service bundled with your Sunday Saver power plan.
1.3
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the offer at any time
1.4
Free power Sundays only applies to power usage charges between 12am - 11.59pm on Sunday. It does not cover:
- the daily fixed charges for power; or
- any mobile or broadband charges.
1.5
The 12 month period begins from the date you join the Sunday Saver plan.
1.6
Free power Sundays will be automatically applied to your bill and itemised on your invoice.
1.7
If you switch to another retailer or cancel your Sunday Saver plan (including moving to another Electric Kiwi plan) during the 12 month period, you forfeit any remaining Free power Sundays entitlement.
2. After your first 12 months
2.1
At the end of your 12 month period, Free power Sundays will continue only if you hold all three Electric Kiwi services — power, broadband, and mobile — on your account.
2.2
If at the end of your 12 month period you do not hold all three services, your Sunday Saver plan power usage charge for Sundays will move to half price rates.
2.3
If after your 12 month period your eligibility changes — for example, you cancel your broadband or mobile service — your Free power Sundays entitlement will cease and your Sunday power usage charges will move to half price rates.
2.4
If after your 12 month period you add a service to meet the eligibility requirements for continued Free power Sundays, please allow up to 30 days for your plan to be updated to reflect this change.
3. Notice
3.1
We will notify you by email at least 30 days before your 12 month period ends to let you know what will happen to your Sunday rates and what your options are.
3.2
Where Free power Sundays will not continue, half price Sunday rates will apply from the date specified in that notification email.
