I'm already with Electric Kiwi, how do I switch to Sunday Saver and what will my first payment be?

Jump on live chat and the team can get you switched over.

Your first payment will include any running balance on your account, so they can confirm the exact total for you.

Will I be charged $250 every month?

No fixed monthly payments here! We only top up your account when your credit runs out. You can keep an eye on your running balance in the Kiwi Central app.

Is the power I use on Sundays actually free with Sunday Saver?

Sure is! All power during the free Sunday period is free from 12:00 AM – 11:59 PM. The only charge that applies is the daily fixed charge.

What happens to my remaining credit if I close my account?

After your final usage comes through, we will refund any remaining credit to your card or account. No exit fees or anything like that to worry about.

Is there a solar buyback rate with Sunday Saver?

Yes! Sunday Saver includes a 9.2c/kWh solar buyback rate all day, every day (including GST).

What happens after my 12 months of free Sundays?

Before your year of free Sundays wraps up, we will be in touch to walk you through your options, let you know if there is a further Sunday benefit and make sure you are still on a great deal.

What happened to Go250? Is Sunday Saver the same plan?

Sunday Saver is the new name for our Go250 plan. We have just updated the name to better reflect what makes it great. Free power every Sunday for your first 12 months is now front and centre, but everything else you loved about Go250 is still here.
